Please join The School of Design for the 2015-2016 HOW DO YOU DESIGN THE FUTURE? Series.

Marc Rettig and Hannah du Plessis, Distinguished Adjunct Professors of Practice (School of Design), will give a lecture titled, “Design the future? Just who do you think you are?” They will present their lecture, which is open to the public, at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, in Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall 103 (Breed Hall).

Using stories from years of study, teaching and consulting in the trenches of social complexity, Marc Rettig and Hannah du Plessis of Fit Associates will illustrate approaches to work that engage the realities of systemic complexity and the deeply personal aspects of change. Through their experiences, they have found approaches and methods that shine a light on the future practice of design in human complexity, and the personal skills and qualities necessary to do such work.
