2006 Costume Theme: Light and Shadow

Henry Hornbostel created the College of Fine Arts Beaux Arts Ball during his first year as dean of the College of Fine Arts in 1911. A revival of the periodic costume ball featuring elaborate entertainment and costumes, this year’s Beaux Arts Ball will be the focal celebration of the centennial year. CFA alumni and the campus community are invited to attend this elegant and eclectic salute to 100 years of creativity in the College of Fine Arts. From musical performances to dramatic decorations, the Beaux Arts Ball promises to be a memorable affair.

Tickets can be purchased through the College of Fine Arts Box Office. For ticket information, alumni, faculty and current students should call the box office at 412.268.2407. The box office is open Monday through Friday noon-5 pm. Please note that this is not a public event and tickets cannot be purchased online.
